ept apprentices celebrate the completion of their apprenticeships: Three graduates with ‘excellent’ grade point averages

The results of this summer’s apprenticeships at ept are clear to see. A total of ten apprentices successfully completed their training, and seven of them completed their tests early. Three of the apprentices received ‘excellent’ grade points averages on their CCI diplomas. That is certainly reason enough to celebrate!

Last Thursday, the ten apprentices met with their instructors and HR Manager Joachim Ruber at the restaurant Gasthof Fichtl in Burggen to celebrate their test results over a shared meal. The group of ten apprentices included five toolmakers, three industrial management assistants, one technical product designer, one IT specialist, and one surface coater. Joachim Ruber personally presented each apprentice with his or her certificate. Some apprentices even received bonuses for individual grades in certain test subjects as well as for excellent academic performance at the vocational school and superior grade point averages on their CCI diploma. All apprentices were offered permanent positions at ept.

Two of the apprentices had additional grounds for celebration. In addition to successfully completing their apprenticeship training at ept, Evi Geiger and Simone Kotz, both industrial management assistants, received grade point averages of 1.0 and 1.3 respectively on their CCI diplomas – both excellent results. Each received a national award during the graduation ceremony at their vocational school in Schongau.

It is very important to ept GmbH that apprentices receive good, solid grades on their diplomas. “To make sure that apprentices are awarded excellent marks, ept offers additional support, for example by covering the cost of external test preparation courses,” explains HR Manager Joachim Ruber. On top of that, apprentices also receive extra time during their work hours to study for tests during the testing phase. This way, ept can ensure that future generations of specialists get the best possible head start in their careers.
